Arriving as part of the ‘10th Collection’ these Nike React Sertu Shoes use a combination of materials to create an intricate and highly detailed aesthetic that is inspired by traditional moccasins. Military inspired detailing runs throughout and makes these shoes street-ready, including a technical lacing system which has slim cord-like laces that loop through a textural woven nylon border on either side of the foot. A shaped synthetic tongue sits underneath with a grip surface design and a reflective central tab. The toe vamp is made from gunsmoke coloured suede, with an additional layer of perforation and small embroidered swoosh ticks just below. Dyed to faded spruce and bicoastal tones, two shapes have been cut from hair-on-leather and placed on the outer sides of the foot for additional interest whilst suede wraps around the back of the heel with a gunsmoke coloured nylon loop added on top for ease of entrance with printed ‘The 10th’ branding. The sculpted outsole has raised black and vivid green coloured rubber dots for durable traction, whilst Nike React technology runs throughout for all-day comfort and cushioning.

Influenced by the 10th Mountain Division during World War II which included Nike’s co founder Bill Bowerman, the 2019 ‘10th’ collection introduces a selection of footwear styles that combine technical elements with contemporary fabrics and stylised details to reflect military and traditional moccasin details. Designed for wear on the streets, contemporary performance features run throughout with each model crafted to have its own definitive look.
